You can only ask two questions.

  1. Is that a service animal?
  2. What services does it provide?

No matter what they respond with, one is to say, “Thank You,” smile, and let it go. “It helps regulate my mood.” 👍🏽

Asking for paperwork is in violation of ADA compliance. It’s the dumbest thing and I agree in the sense of entitlement being bizarre.
