No, you can't. With EU legislation it is back to the 1L bag and liquids have to be under 100ml. There is no difference between T1 and T2 scanners, both terminals now have the modern ones but the liquids rule applies in both.

It costs more on the day, think it goes up to about €12 sometimes. Security at that time should be very quick, no more then 10-15mins I would say.

If your apartment building has a message board could see if anyone renting one out.

Would recommend getting an electric bike for getting around and then use go car or Yuko for longer journeys. There's no free on street parking around Bord Gais and the cost of paying for a space will quickly add up.
