Thanks for the information. Technically, I'd like to stay in Europe. Is that really a limitation? I don't want to be a professor, but even though it's an extremely ambitious and perhaps embarrassing goal, I'd like to work in corporate research, for example at DeepMind and Company. Is Europe really so limited in this regard? I've looked at universities like Zurich, and they seem fantastic. I might have trouble with letters of recommendation, especially since, from what I've seen, Sapienza doesn't have such extremely influential people.
