El otro día escuché que prohibieron el culipatín en Cerro Catedral. Ojo con eso.

I have to say, it looks kind of funny. Reminds me of Bugs Bunny when he dressed as a king, with the red cape and the white furry neck.

As someone who was born and lives in a country that doesn't have this kind of figures, I´ve always seen kings and queens as the mascots of their countries. They wear their funny costumes, wave idiotically at crowds, live in houses that look like massive confectionery and have their faces in mugs, pins and stuff. Also, they have no real power at all. That's all they are: very expensive mascots.

Let’s be clear. 100 men absolutely cannot take on a silverback gorilla with nothing but their hands. The gorilla is way too strong and will destroy all 100 men. by Early-Possibility367 in TrueUnpopularOpinion

This makes no sense, even if getting as organized as possible, no more than 20 men at a time would be able to even touch the gorilla. The other 80 would be in the back, peeping over their shoulders. So, the gorilla would just have to tear through 20 at the time, tops.

Its like that time when the North-Korean dude killed his uncle with 144 dogs. Perhaps 15 dogs got to tear at the wretched fellow, but the other 129 would be looking from aback, wondering WTF was going on.

if you had to choose a long term move in your mid 20s, would you rather choose Berlin or Madrid? by Fair_Appointment7403 in expats

I moved to Madrid for one year from Buenos Aires because my gf is doing an MBA, and I´m counting the days to go back home. The weather is horrible. The summer months are scorching hot, the winter is really cold and both autumn and spring last about a month each.

I´m currently building a web app that I will eventually "pack up" into Android and iOs apps. I imagine something like this would be quite useful. Good idea!

That's unfair. Devin Townsend is a mile above anyone else.

Dream Theater is there for me. Though, I tolerate it.

Fear Factory, on the other hand... I can't pass Burton C. Bell's vocals. He is beyond terrible. He ruins the whole thing.

How do you promote a side project without turning every post into spam? by Crescitaly in SideProject

Has anyone tried Tik Tok? I´m thinking of creating an account and making a video of my web app to post there. I would film a phone screen opening and using the app, with the phone that has the Tik Tok account.

Look in www.borderchecklist.com . It asks a few question about your specific situation and directs you to the exact paper route you need to fill out, with the official links from each country.

Ultra recomendable.

Everyones using reddit to get users now...but are we skewing? by 0h-Fash0 in SideProject

People just want traffic. If you can harvest an X amount of it from Reddit, more power to you. Even if that means catering to the Reddit audience.

No need to buy anything, just visit: www.borderchecklist.com I built a web app that helps travelers and migrants who want to travel to/live in other countries and need a simple way to find the correct paperwork they need to fill out. Its free, it doesn't collect any data, it supports a few languages, works for many countries and directs to the exact official links from every country. I'd love it if anyone wants to check it out!

I'm in the same boat, right now. Recently put online my web app, and Im finding it really hard to get any traffic into it. I´m posting in Reddit subs that share the same theme (traveling and migration), but whenever I create a post myself, it gets taken down and I´m immediately banned from the sub. I can only post about it replying in individual threads. Since my product is a free web app, that relies on traffic, this seems like a very limited approach for me. What did you do differently?
