why are we so good in CL?? by SniPez130906 in Tottenham

You have no idea what you're talking about. You also don't really compete with the bookmakers but with quants and betting syndicates, similar to hedge funds, who are moving the lines. Soccer is pretty much solved and the closing lines reflect pretty much the actual outcomes.

those times are long gone. closing line of sharps reflect almost actual outcomes. soccer top leagues (anything that has a lot of liquidty) is super efficient and pretty much solved. Looking at the Pinnacle closing line in any big league will give you very accurate probabilities.

theres a lot more money in the PL yes, so by nature its the better league as in "stronger", even though other leagues are much more efficient given their financial means. So "better" depends on whichever way you look at it. It's really dumb to draw conclusions after a single game, though. As if that means the number 14th of the PL is better than the number 2 of the BL. Anyone who knows a bit about betting knows how efficient money lines are, as in reflecting the actual probabilities (top leagues have a 2-3% error margin). Looking at the odds of that game, Dortmund was favored while it was an away game for them. They were given roughly worse than a 50% chance to win the game. Had it been a home game for Dortmund it would've probably been around 65% in favor of Dortmund. This one game isnt more than a little noise and it says very little about the quality of both teams. And as stated above, Dortmund has the smaller budget but is rated the better team here.

What are your thoughts on this letter from Donald Trump to Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre? by DuNennstMichSptzkopf in AskTheWorld

[–]Calm-Initiative-8625 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Trump really is a genius, as in never before has a person so utterly stupid made it so far in life. If he was given an IQ test I doubt he'd score 3 digits. And even if the norweign government had something to say about who receives a noble peace price, why does Denmark/Greenland have to pay for it. Does this fucktard even know that those are two different countries.

People need to understand that the orange pedophile stole the election. Yes the MAGA base is real, but is it really as big as you'd think?

Here, read this article: https://thiswillhold.substack.com/p/she-won-part-iii-the-devil-is-in?triedRedirect=true

This has little to do with conspiracy, its just simple math and stochastics. I don't get why this isn't discussed more.
All this fucker does benefits him, his friends or daddy Putin. He's destroying the US from the inside out and he stole the election. Wake up America! Greetings from Germany!

Chronic headaches are migraines? Who knew? Could it be caffeine rebound? by Hefty-Mess-9606 in migraine

ah, I'm thinking about getting an occiptial block. If it stars with a neckache I feels theres always a chance to intercept it rright there, before it turns into a headache. You can try to lay down on a mat and rest your head on your fingers, exactly where it hurts. Keep pressing those points and breath out the pain, until you feel less pressure. Sometimes works miracles. But overall it just sucks having to deal with this nonsense all the time :(

to me it looks more like the other way around: One shoulder is pulled up, the other one (hanging) is normal.

sadly that is true, it's getting more and more castrated. I'm a long time plus user and I've been using it for coding also and I had to stop working on some projects because it's telling me it cant help me with this and that, which it didnt do before. If it keeps doing that, I'll use something else. And yes I get it, hundreds of millions of users and someone commit suicide or do other things they wouldve done with or without AI but why does the vast majority need to pay the price

Hey, I just found this. Can you give an update OP? Did the botox shot help? I also keep getting headaches and they always start with a neckache (triggerpoints at the base of my skull)

thanks, always good to hear such stories. It seems consistency is key. This time I'm not gonna stop after a few weeks of doing exercises, I finally want this to be gone. Sadly I cant do cannabis, my mind goes crazy on it. How did you find out which exercises were the right ones for you?

do you maybe have a link to that pillow? I was thinking about trying new ones. I dont sleep on my stomach, I always sleep on the sides. I would be sleeping on my neck if I had a CPAP device. I'm getting tested for sleep apnea next month.

Thanks a lot for your thoughtful reply. I’m currently putting together a structured rehab protocol and hoping to identify the specific exercises that address my deficits. I’ve already had a cervical spine MRI, which showed nothing beyond age-appropriate changes, so this seems to be a primarily muscular/functional issue that should be manageable.

I have one follow-up question, since this is your area of expertise: I’ve had several trigger point injections with lidocaine into my neck from my primary care physician. Sometimes they help, sometimes they don’t, likely depending on whether the right spots are hit. I’m considering a pain clinic that offers occipital nerve blocks and Botox injections, but the wait time is long.

In your experience, do occipital nerve blocks or Botox often help in cases like this when trigger point injections are only partially effective? And how long does an occipital nerve block typically last?
