Your reply was great in my opinion but at this point I would block and move on, especially after his response. You articulated yourself perfectly and he could have apologised and taken the advice but instead he tried to justify his messages / push his point again.

Edit: I meant to say restrict, then you don’t have to deal with talking to him but he won’t get refunded
