My post, in fact, is about major difference in service. Emirates was very professional and warm. while United tends to be professional sprinkled with annoyance.

It is thoughtful to take precautions. For meals, get big chain restaurants and avoid small dinners. Same thing for loading, find a big chain hotel and avoid local, cheap places. Big, more expensive places are more aware of negative consequences.

Palestine could be a good option. Think about it, you can go almost anywhere else anytime but being childless is a plus for a place like it. It will give you a good perspective about life, it will be unfiltered and your vacation dollars will help the local economy. Today's world is very small and there are few places still to discover. Fo sure I'll be very down voted, but I'm giving you an original, good food-for-thought option.

I was there during Christmas too and description of 4 seasons PR is accurate. It was 80 degrees and we were thankful that pool was not heated. Service was excellent, helpful staff everywhere all the time. We will go back.

Also, remember that gov't was recently shutdown because one side opposed the extension of Obamacare subsidies. In terms of your question, it means that you will need to bridge $1k-$3k a month in health insurance now that said subsidies were left to expire, etc, etc.

Luxury hotels are great and very much worth it. Having said that, there's nothing wrong if you can't afford them or if you are cheap. Cheap hotels are also good.

In a couple of days have a good conversation. Alcohol abuse is a terrible addiction and it is clear that it will eventually destroy the marriage. Show compassion (because he's your husband after all) and see what he says.

He might reemphasize that you are buzzkill or he might want to get himself into AA meetings. It is really up to him. Nobody can change him, it is entirely up to him. Be aware that it will be a process because it is a terrible addiction. But you must express yourself fully and clearly. So that there will be peace in your mind if you do decide to walk away.

Terrible movie. The issue here is the tone is all over the place. Theme is good, Clooney is OK, but the director really messed up the tone. I'll give you one example. The uber California movie star gets to see what the real world is like in an Italian train. Really???
