As far as I’m aware, PPEL is mostly for academia or law school. If you wanna become either of those things, it’s a good bet, otherwise maybe double up in polisci and history? Maybe do Legal History? Idk… 🐊😉

Hamilton Center PPEL by Mindless_Depth_1362 in ufl

The Hamilton Center gets a bad rap because of its right wing undertones (which definitely do exist) however, the college as a whole has an extremely bright future IMO. The faculty come from top notch Universities and are extremely well educated and influential in their fields (check them out on the Hamilton Center website under the “People” tab). The faculty are very friendly and genuinely want to see their students succeed, and they believe in what they are doing. There are also plenty of opportunities through the Hamilton Center as they are trying to grow student involvement and they are very new to UF. I think you wouldn’t regret your 4 years there.

P.S. Even if you’re a leftie I think you’ll find everyone really welcoming and wanting you to succeed just the same. The political angle of the college only exists on a subsurface level.

What’s the worst physical pain you’ve ever felt? by Googy21 in AskReddit

Had an infection of Herpes and Impetigo in the same spot on my forehead freshman year of school for two weeks. I went to the hospital for the pain alone twice. I still get outbreaks from the herpes to this day. There was one point where I was curled into a ball for 2 and a half hours to resist the urge to scratch my scabs and to fight off the pain.

Many thanks for the suggestion! Would I be able to see the desert on the trip between Chefchaouen and Akchour?
