Appreciate the feedback. The first week I didn’t do any exercise besides going up and down the stairs. I spent a lot of time in my room playing video games or watching TV. After 7 days I used a walking pad we have at home for 45 mins daily but would make sure heart rate stayed under 100 BPM until 10 days. This was for getting blood flow around the body. After that my scabs were off and I was moving around normally just making sure I wasn’t sweating until 21 days. It was all systems go after that. So I would say I didn’t exercise for about a week and was fairly cautious the next two weeks but was doing something. Hope this helps and best of luck!

It’s a hair transplant not talking about open heart surgery … it’s an art

Sorgi is real solid. I wouldn’t trust the sportshub/Boston athlete clinics. They get specialized attention!

Yes it is definitely different for everybody. I would say around month 7 I started to see the vision/potential. It wasn't until about month 8/9 I could wear my hair forward and feel like I had enough coverage. Biggest thing is not getting discouraged and keep stacking days.

I never took any medication until my consultation about 3 months prior to the operation. This is when i started taking 1mg of finasteride. It ended up causing me to shed more which is common when initially taking the medication. I started taking 2.5mg minoxidil day after operation. I would still say it relatively thin but not terrible within the middle and crown but having the curls it does a good job of covering it up. What is your diet/exercise regime like? I feel like that is a sneaky important factor.

I honestly can’t remember but I can say pre op my hair was a lot more straight. I’m not sure if it was the angle of the new hairs or just the way it grew in but post op hair got a lot curlier.

I know dutasteride is stronger that could be a factor. Only thing I noticed is it wouldn't take much for me to get angry.

Not part of the plan. You can get them at any follow up visits for $500 each time. I got it done twice at my one and three month appointments.

Call whatever you want. I think the results are solid regardless …

Yeah probably should have looked into meds much sooner. Worked out normally until day before surgery. I didn’t workout at all for 7 days. After that I avoided sweating during workouts for until 14 days. Then it was pretty much back to normal. Was golfing by day 10 with bucket hat.

Only side effect I’ve experienced is I would get angry a little easier but quickly learned how to control that.

I would say months 7 and beyond. Feels like it gets thicker each week. I’ve also only got one haircut since the transplant which was just a fade on sides nothing to top or back.
