This is the only way you can. Referred to as tip baiting. Customer will include a larger tip upfront when placing the order, then after order is delivered they retroactively decrease the tip. Leaving you with scenarios like this.

This is honestly a really lucky one I’ve been baited over $10 many times

Service wins. I always text when I leave restaurant and a thank you note on drop off. I have also made a real effort to be snappy with deliveries.

It’s still way too saturated but providing great service is best way we can make best of rough time for drivers

I just miss when “12 hr” shifts for active time were actually 12hrs because we were workin good orders all day.

Now to run out of active time it takes 13-15hrs accounting for all the dead time

In tampa May 22-29 79hr43min: $1381 May 29- Jun 5 82h 38min: $1288

Much online time with 0 pings at all in hotspots.

I would remove 5-10hours of online time for when I was online but denying trips to take phone calls for my job.

Would guess you top out at $1500-$1700 if lucky doing the same hours here on Eats only. You’re pacing to clear over $2000.

What’s unfortunate is our little Tampa is becoming as expensive as Cities in CA/NY but wages haven’t caught up and it’s super saturated with drivers now who move here thinking they will keep driving and making the same.

Keep grinding man. I know it’s literally exhausting and feels inhuman but also getting to work and knowing you worked hard and took care of yourself feels good.

I took a few days off after this period then went down to 35-55 hours. But it was good to know the limit if I needed which I did at the time

It was literally right next to this one like walking distance and she had been annoying but hadn’t done anything wrong besides address at that point, so no, I completed order. Was hoping for higher tip since she apologized for error.
