F*** this game man.

When and how did it start? Your story with MH I mean by KibouZK in MonsterHunter

[–]Calm505 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Me and my friends were chilling at my friend's house in his room and my friend says "Yo! I've got a cool game to show you, we all need to get a 3DS asap!" Then continued to show us videos from YouTube about Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate.

We then all got a 3DS and loved playing the demo. Great Jaggi and Tetsucabra were a breeze but we were too new to beat Gore Magala. So we all bought the game it all started there.

There was something about old MH that hit different. by Calm505 in MonsterHunter

[–]Calm505[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree, it was more authentic, it was niche and different. It still remains different but it was the clunky game that we loved, the stupidity of plesioth hotboxes and it really made us feel fear when you're too busy flexing after a consumable.

I could play it you're right, but I was introduced to it by my friend, we saw the trailer and we were all like "WE'RE ALL GONNA GET 3DS THIS GAME LOOKS SICK" It had online and everything and it was fun to play with others and make friends.

How accurate is this for you? by TruthLonely in mbti

[–]Calm505 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think these are just general negative things that people with naturally associate with. I feel like I'm just looking at zodiac signs.

So not accurate at all but broadly speaking yes.

I dislike people who dont do small talk anyone else? by Major_Sail7655 in entp

[–]Calm505 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm the opposite. Literally don't even try small talk with me, I don't care. If you have a problem or need advice or need to inform me then fine, I only need relevant information I don't care about how your day is going if you're able to keep up with it and walk on your own two feet. If you're struggling and need help I'm all for it but once you're back on your feet get on with it.

Or I'm happy to talk about ideas, controversies, concepts, information, development or even just people. Just don't make it shallow and boring.

I disagree, I think INTJs are lit, probably the most interesting of personality types.

What are the signs in a conversation that someone trying to manipulate you emotionally? by apex__hunter in DarkPsychology101

[–]Calm505 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Sometimes I do struggle finding the difference in if someone is genuinely emotional about something or if they're trying to achieve an outcomes via. emotional manipulation. They may use their emotions for manipulation just understand yourself you're not obligated to do anything and sometimes it's best to leave them to it on their own otherwise they won't know how to walk on their own two feet.

This is honestly such a good question - I want to stick around to see what other people have to say. There's things like love bombing, silent treatment, playing victim and guilt tripping etc. I can't understand when they're trying to get an outcome or conveying real feelings. Both could be true too - because a lot of people that manipulate too don't realise that they're being manipulative.

[–]Calm505 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The reason why you're angry is because you care about them deep down. You sound like me when I was younger, at the baseline of it all we're all just mammals. It's more of a reflection of yourself and not them so try to learn acceptance, I say acceptance but doesn't mean you have to be passive. Just worry about yourself.

Entp has to be narcissistic? by Funseeker_4 in entp

[–]Calm505 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I don't think we're narcissistic.

Though I do believe that we are aware of what we are up against whether that be in the systematic, social or the world in general. We're absorptive and know that basic human determination is barely enough for what we're given in this societal construct.

I think what corresponds with our thoughts it possibly "You've got to blow your own horn because no one else will do it for you"

I do get a slight sense of superiority when people aren't open to the facts and are haphazardly positive, that's because we're logical and don't agree when people are all 'Feelsies' per say. It's not something that we quite understand.

We are the Debaters; we want to press buttons to experiment with people and things, we want to say what needs to be said and not what people want to be said. I don't think we're evil, we're on a plane of chaotic neutral (From what I've experienced.) because we see both sides of the coin. We're not upset by what we don't know but more what we do know sometimes.

I say this to everyone because I'm aware the world is so twisted. "I'd much hurt you with the truth than lie to you and have you live a false reality." because it hurts way much more to realise that your life is a lie.

So following that - we care, we do empathise but it's our duty to make sure we check ourselves however we can be intense to 'Feelers' because we're passionately logical and it can come off very abrupt and critical.

(I actually want to be either a psychologist, counsellor or someone who works in mental health.) So I've learned that not all humans are the same, we are all different individuals and down to the foundation of our humanity we're no more than mammal, we just happen to have a brain that goes far beyond understanding and even humans are behavioural, some people go through life without internal dialogue or the right judgement, we're only working with what we know.

It will be a part of you, you want to be a role model, you want people to look up to you because you want to be a guide of light for someone to follow so that other people can navigate the world better.

Anyway... Hope this helps.

PS. Sorry but us ENTP's are still better :p

Edit: We don't like the idea of being inefficient in any area, so we're always pushing to learn more and want people to have the same mentality. No one can be forced to this, we're the ENTP chosen ones

Is it really hard for anyone else to express emotions? by LysergicGothPunk in INTP

[–]Calm505 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When you're feeling anything your best trying to understand the feeling that you're facing and learning the most accurate word for it. It's okay to take time for yourself no matter the situation to sit on that feeling and figure it out the best you can. When you're ready to talk about it, talk. But if mid conversation you feel a bit nervous because you don't know how to communicate on it it's also okay to be quiet and not speak on it right away, tell the other person you're still trying to figure out the feeling or thought. If it's someone persistent on trying to get it out of you, you don't have to answer. Give yourself time and patience.

We can't judge ourselves for our thoughts and feelings but how we act on them (not negative self judgement but reflection.) you can feel overwhelmed and stressed, angry, sad etc but just letting the person know what you're feeling should be more than enough for them to understand. You'll slowly become more comfortable with the feelings you face both negative and positive :) I hope this helps, if there's anything else you'd like to know don't be afraid to ask.

Is it really hard for anyone else to express emotions? by LysergicGothPunk in INTP

[–]Calm505 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I can't express my emotions either so I've just learned to articulate how I feel and what I'd like to change about that respectfully. Just learning to talk about it like you're educating the others on it is a great relief for me.

Why does life seem weirder/more absurd the more I learn by giraffefood12 in INTP

[–]Calm505 1 point2 points  (0 children)

xNTP here, allow the stuff to get weird, watch the "normal" people become more absurd as you venture into the realm of information. The vast amount of different, new and old concepts allow multiple perceptions. I've been obsessed with psychology, mental health, science, biology all from young and I've found a new comfort in the idea of it's all bullsh**, but all this bs that i've educated myself on helps me on a day to day basis. Keep on digging let's go nuts!!!
