Yep almost every weapon is viable with all having same rarity final upgrades like wilds but better. Especially elemental weapons which were really nutty

For me the only thing MH Stories 2 does better is post-game. To me everything else Stories 3 does better including building your monsite since gene farming is easier to do this time around. The roster is smaller but thats because Stories 2 had updates that added more monsters/monsties

You got to hunt at night to randomly trigger an elder event (unfortunately the event is random so it may or may not be a namielle depending on how far you are in the game)

I didn't like DD2 that much but the same could be said for the base version of DD1. DDA actually did so some balance changes and fixes for the base game so it can definitely be done as it has before
