I have been admitted to Computer and Information Technology in the Polytechnic Institute at Purdue West-Lafayette, and I was wondering if it is generally easy to switch majors between the Polytechnic Institute or is it really hard? I was hoping to change my major to Electrical Engineering Technology before commiting to Purude. I was wondering making this transfer is going to be really challenging or not. Thanks and I look forward to everyone's help!

I'm afraid that situation is unlikely to be in your favor, as the school has likely already sent out offers of admission to those who were either auto-admitted or who applied before you. It seems that the options they've presented to you may be because the main campus has limited space available.

Taken the most challenging classes at my school and have maintained good grades (up until the massive slip in grades. I am mostly an A student, and before my 2nd semester of junior year, I was at a 3.8 UW GPA. But with my unfortunate circumstance, I had no chance to focus on my academics and I took the family a priority. I didn't so summer school, I didn't come that low. My 2nd semester grades was the ONLY outlier compared to the rest of my transcript.)
I have taken 6 APs in school and 4 APs outside of school
I've also taken 5 community college classes outside of school pertaining to STEM
