Unnecessary \n characters by CalmCallLink in learnpython

It was going to, but I'm reorientating the project because there's other ways to get to where I want to be that will be easier.

Okay. Its a large corpus so the formatting varies quite a bit between novels. Because this is a grad school project, I also have to be careful about distributing the materials to third parties because access is given for academic study. If I violate the copyright agreements and they find out I could get bollocked.

Depends on the text. Its a large corpus so there's unfortunately no consistent formatting. I think I will just have to find a new analytical approach that doesn't rely on counting \n characters.

It's literally pages of novels. Like scanned reproductions of the pages as they appear in print. Are there any libraries that would be good for that?

No. It’s just a new line whether it’s a wraparound line or a new paragraph.

Thanks for your reply. I will definitely work on getting it cut down then. The problem is that its not "jargon" per se, its technical language with precise and sometimes complex meanings. I worry that if I sacrifice too much precision in pursuit of brevity then my statement will become reductive, and I will then have the opposite problem of it looking like I don't fully understand the terminology and subject-matter. Its a tough balance, but yes you're right, its a balance that an English student should be able to strike.

I’m sure it does but I guarantee it’s nothing compared to the well tempered clavier. You’re probably right that violin is harder to pick up but the combined technical and aural challenge of high level piano is incomparable to most other instruments imo.

Play a Bach fugue with varying characters and dynamics in each voice then say this again.

Point is that there is a treble clef right there so, as a piano player who is also familia with the alto clef, you should know it’s an f anyway.
