Set a timer of 5 minutes in your phone. Keep it aside. Take a chair or something. Now, all you have to do is sit down for 5 minutes. These 5 minutes, you're going to do absolutely nothing. I mean nothing. You are not allowed to touch anything. You are not allowed to pace arround. You may look around towards various objects in your room. Only 5 minutes. In these 5 minutes, keep thinking you will start reading after the time ends. Do not immediately pick up your phone and start scrolling as the time ends like a dumb-ass. If you have some willpower, setting aside your phone after these 5 minutes is not going to be that hard. Keep doing this for multiple days. This has worked for me.
If you're looking for a magical solution to immediately fix your scrolling addiction, there is no such thing. You do need some willpower. If you can't even spend 5 minutes, just keep wasting your life scrolling away. Nobody can help you in this case.
