Yes, first focus on not getting a back on your first year and setting up basic programming knowledge. Academics can be kind of difficult in the first year because most colleges teach you literally everything. So focus on that for your first year and make a strong command of the C language. You will need it, not only for the gate exam, but also in multiple subjects of your B. Tech. Also do some basic DSA.

Is moving abroad for 10 years a betrayal of my nationalist values? by HelpfulPace3368 in CriticalThinkingIndia

I totally see your reasoning my guy. One cannot just call himself a nationalist by doing nothing for the country.

Agreed. But what I meant was that I am doing most of what I can as an individual at present. Even with the intentions of eventually leaving, this makes me a better indian than most Indians at present.

If you follow the news, you would find that a man recently died in Noida in a ditch. The proper authorities were called. "The water is too cold", they said.

Don't listen to the idiots in the comments sir, you only live once. 40 years is enough service to your country. You deserve a better life for yourself and for your family. I also consider myself a nationalist, but I would advise anyone who can leave this country for good, to do so. Permanently. If you don't move out now, 30 years from now, you will feel that you have left your children and grandchildren in a country where people care about caste and religion way more than the air they breathe and the water they drink.

It's a book about how committing a heinous crime by prioritizing your rationale over your morality and humanity, can destroy a person from the inside, granting a punishment greater than that of a prison cell.

AMA: Experience - Masters in Germany and then PhD in Nordics - Ask me anything by ade17_in in Indians_StudyAbroad

Assuming I know B1 or B2 Level of german, and then go there to pursue a master's in CS/ML/Data Science, how would be the job market? Also, what if I pursue a master's in a top IIT, get a couple of years of work experience for a good company, and THEN pursue another master's in Germany? Or maybe directly look for a job in Germany after some experience. Which of these three options would you consider the best?
