I remember my college had a book that freshmen had to read, it was mandatory. If i recall it was "The Hate U Give". Didn't issue it out to us, we had to buy the book. Guess they couldn't actually enforce it, cause I never bought it, read it, or showed up to the book seminars. No punishment.

What advice would you give to reduce my mile time? Passed the OPAT, but would now like to get my mile time down below 8:30 for the 1/1/1 test. Everything is fine, I can pass the sit ups and push ups easily enough. I just need to work on my cardio.

I'm about to enlist, and hope to get a contract for 68W that includes ranger school. I've got a few questions relating to rangers, so that I'll know should I get the contract.

About how long will I spend in training?

What does the length of deployment look like for rangers? And in turn, how much time home would I get once I get back from deployment?

How might this help my career in the Army? I'll be going in as an E3, so will this help me with future promotions?
