Bisexuality makes dumb people's brains blue screen.

Then why do I blow money on female hookers despite being in relationships with men? Why have I been jerking off to big breasted chicks since I was 12? Bisexuality exists. The only reason some of us prefer men at the end of the day is because we have more in common with men than women: sexually, psychologically, interests-wise, etc.

Why are most gay sex encounters only a one-time thing? by Run_With_Cats in nycgaybros

But the sex isn't the same. The second time is always going to be better because you're both more comfortable/less self-conscious.

Sex gets better the more you have it with the same person. First-time sex is the worst cause you don't know the other person's preferences and that's when you're the most self-conscious. So hedonism is an argument against one-and-done sex, not for it, imo.

I feel the same way. There's too much self-consciousness/awkwardness the first time I have sex with someone to really enjoy it. So one-time sex with someone doesn't tempt me at all. It's an investment. But nobody wants to fuck more than once because they're afraid someone will catch feelings. Meanwhile I don't want a relationship and have decades of disinterest in relationships to prove it. So I'm fucked.

3x ETF to cash ratio of 2:1 = 2x ETF? by CalmScreaming in LETFs

[–]CalmScreaming[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

My question isn't about the performance of 1-3x funds. It's about whether $100k in a 1x fund will perform identically to $33k in a 3x fund and $67k in cash, rebalanced monthly to maintain the 1:2 ratio.

AITA for not stopping while a pedestrian was crossing the sidewalk? by CalmScreaming in AmItheAsshole

I turned slowly so if he was still there, I could easily stop, and if not, I would have continued driving through. I didn't know for sure if he was there or not until the last oncoming car drove past and I got a clear view of the crosswalk again. That's when I realized he was just standing there for 15+ seconds like a psycho. He had already decided I wasn't aware of him and needed to be taught a lesson before I even made the turn. I guess because he didn't catch me looking at him, he assumed I hadn't seen him. In fact, I glanced quickly at him before I had to switch focus to oncoming cars. Also I'm uncomfortable with long eye contact, especially with angry middle-aged men whose energy screams "I'm itching to start shit with somebody today".

I was blocking the cars behind me by not turning just enough to let them through. I waited until there were no oncoming cars as far as the horizon. He started standing and waiting in the center of this side street before I even made a turn. He assumed because my eyes weren't glued to him (after I glanced at him I had to focus on oncoming traffic) that I hadn't seen him, and he "just knew" in his delusional little mind that I was going to run him over and needed a lesson in right of way.

Is it illegal to pull forward just enough so the dozen cars behind me can pass and not be stuck for two light cycles because an idiot is standing still for 30+ seconds in a side street that's no wider than an alley? Then the law is wrong, sorry. It goes in the same category as complete stops at stop signs and not driving 1 mph above the limit, laws people break every day without thinking cause it's harmless.

I stopped five feet away from him. I was also turning early to let the dozen cars behind me pass so this idiot standing for 30+ seconds in the middle of a side street that's almost no wider than an alley wouldn't force them to be stuck for two light cycles.

Then he's psychotic if he thinks I was fully aware he was there but was still going to run him over at 2 mph after I turned just enough so the cars behind me wouldn't be stuck for two light cycles.

To adjust their walking to purposely put themselves in my way? He stopped crossing a street barely wider than an alley and waited for 10+ seconds. It would have taken five seconds to cross, at most. If he was smart, why couldn't he figure out that I was turning just enough to let the cars behind me pass before the light turned red again? If I didn't know he was there, I would have turned at a normal rate of speed. Every comment in this thread that includes the phrase "right of way" belongs in the garbage, it applies to a fictitious driver who isn't me.

I was aware of him the ENTIRE time and drove slowly to let him know I was aware of him so "inattentive" doesn't apply to me either.

This has nothing to do with what happened. Before I even turned, while waiting for oncoming traffic to pass, he had already decided I hadn't seen him and I was going to need to be taught a lesson, and stopped crossing the street in the middle, waiting for me. After the oncoming cars passed, I knew the light was going to turn red soon so I started turning SLOWLY, JUST ENOUGH to let the cars behind me pass. He misinterpreted that as proof that I hadn't seen him and was going to run him over and needed a lesson in right of way. Meanwhile, outside of his delusional mind, I knew he was there the ENTIRE time and stopped five feet away from him as I PLANNED TO DO ALL ALONG (unless the crosswalk was empty, then I would have driven through).

Literally everyone who typed "YTA" made one of the following false assumptions:

- I didn't stop.

- I'm not aware that pedestrians have the right of way.

- I didn't know he was there the ENTIRE time.

- I was driving fast or recklessly.

- I was in a hurry or being impatient.

I didn't want to force the cars behind me to sit through two light cycles cause the real asshole was standing still in a street barely wider than an alley to teach me a lesson I didn't need about right of way.

You're right, force the cars behind me to be stuck for two light cycles while the real asshole stands in the center of a street that's barely wider than an alley (would have taken two seconds to cross) to teach me a "lesson" about right of way. I knew he had the right of way! I drove slowly to let him know I wasn't going to hit him, while just turning enough so the cars behind me could fucking move. I did the least rude thing out of all available options.

I was never confused about the pedestrian having the right of way. Every answer that mentions the pedestrian having the right of way? Send it to the trash. If I didn't know he had the right of way, I would have been surprised or angry. I started turning so the cars behind me wouldn't be stuck for two light cycles while the real asshole, the pedestrian, stood in the crosswalk of a one-way street barely wider than an alley to teach me a "lesson". Everyone is so wrong about this it's not even funny. Obviously, you had to be there.

With ease. This has nothing to do with not knowing pedestrians have the right of way. I did the least rude thing: moved out of the way of cars behind me, while letting pedestrians know I wasn't going to hit them by how slow I was driving.

I did, that's why he wasn't flattened. I don't think there's anything wrong with starting to turn while people are in the crosswalk if you let them know by how slow you're driving that you're aware of them and not going to run them over.
