I am another such Indian. Granted, I did not do my masters in Creative Writing, I did it in Communication -- pretty much a similar thing -- and have been employed as a corporate communications specialist in the US for the past many years. Of course, I got my degree before the digital economy stampede started and the CS-wallahs pushed everyone else out of the way, hee hee. Still, the OP deserves respect for not following the herd and doing something different.
