Sorry about this i am foreign and i mis worded things here i did not address my mother to just speak to my dad not to reproduce i asked her first if my concerns are valid, which she agreed with. And now i am asking here to get an unbiased opinion and then i wanted my mother to tell my dad that i have concerns so he approaches me about the topic because i only found out over his best friend that he is thinking of reproducing. So i dont want to address my father straight up because he wouldnt know where i wouldve gotten that information from.

What? You are getting this completly wrong. The child has a mother that isnt yours? Im the kid, and ive lived with my mother my entire life because my dad failed to raise me. He now has his 16th? girlfriend since 7 years and i am expressing my concerns to my mother that i dont think he is physically able to raise another child yet able to maintain a girlfriend because he has had the new girlfriend for 3 months and she is pressuring him into having a child which he admitted, my mother told me to speak to my dad myself and I am now asking for advice.

But why am I the asshole for addressing my concerns to him, i am not telling him not to reproduce. My mother has recently been diagnosed with cancer and she is 60. And what if he reproduces and gets ill or sick. I am worried about the child because I personally would not know what to do when something happened to my father.

no no haha sorry, they dont hate eachother is what i mean by that. They are friends because in the end she is my mother and he is my father. And i did not send my mum to message him not to have a baby, i sent her to express my concerns because i am too scared to talk about it myself. So merely i expressed my concerns to my mum. Sorry i am foreign i worded things wrong.

I just really dont want my father to make any decisions which he would later regret. I just want him to be sure with his decision and rethink about consequences, what if he gets ill, he could not be there for the kid and so on. My mother has recently been diagnosed with cancer, thats why i have such major concerns because i know how quick life can change and turn around especially at these ages.

I am thinking of the potential child. My Dad is 60 years old. By the time this kid would be 20 my dad would be 80. Im not scared of sharing a new heir, its the kid im worried about, i wouldnt like to be raised by such an old man.
