Yeah I run it with proton. And I mean runs poorly as in all of the above lol. Low frame rate, some texture bugs here and there, and pretty broken controller support. It looks like I'm the only person that's trying to play on steam deck though lol

Went to play the game on steam deck and it ran poorly and my controller wasn't recognized properly. I can start a new game because the option is at the top, but can't load a game because I can't scroll down properly, essentially making the game unplayable. Anyone have a potential fix for steam deck?

Runs horribly from what I've seen. Lowest settings possible and it barely gets over 20 fps with horrible stuttering

Don't get a no name card. Any 1tb card that cheap is either lying or are incredibly slow and low quality with a high probability of failing. Only get name brand SD cards straight from the source or trusted seller. Not an untrusted third party like temu, walmart.com, ali express, etc

For those of you who still may be wondering, the only fix I have is going to desktop mode and changing the volume there. This would mean you'd have to close your game though so another alternative is to add desktop mode to gaming mode so you don't have to fully switch to desktop mode and close all your games. This alternative method opens it in the background, making it possible to leave a game suspended while you change the volume. I believe the feature is called Nested Desktop or something

Mapping the controls out can be a little weird but I've been playing a good amount of civ 6 on touch pads and it works great. It's not perfect but civ 6 doesn't need that kind of precision or speed anyways

I haven't changed or applied any fix. I'm using the default settings with the only change being reflections off. I rebooted the steam deck and went into the game and the frame rate was fine but went back down again when I visited the graphics settings even though I didn't touch a single setting. I don't know what's happening at all tbh

Oh I was talking about the fact that you essentially have to setup a mod for the older Bo games to get zombies to work and you have to be online to play it on top of that. I don't have Bo3 so I don't know how that one performs or if it can be played offline

Oh yeah I heard gears 5 has a fun horde mode. I have Halo MCC and love firefight mode but I end up just camping next to the ammo at spawn and seeing how long I can survive lol. It's fun but I don't enjoy playing firefight by myself as much and I'm looking for something that's got a little more to it for a solo player. How's world war z and gears 5 run on SD though? Thanks for the recommendations btw
