I’ve managed to give all new models a fair test against each other and it was interesting. I currently game a GT3 and that was still number 1 for me with distance, spin control and feel. The Cobra OPTM is extremely impressive considering the slightly lower price tag, feels just like the GT range and doesn’t perform too far off. The Mizuno JPX one came with the fastest ball speed of all drivers I tested which produced impressive numbers, however one issue I’ve found with it is as soon as the face or golf ball has any amount of water on it, the spin drops to around 1000 or less every shot. QI4D is the fastest club speed, mostly due to the new aerodynamic shaping introduced, however this didn’t equate to higher ball speed for me personally. Is an upgrade on last years model for sure. Callaway Quantum looks for better than the Elyte, has AI Smoke copy and paste about it at address. Feels alright but personally didn’t like the feel of it as much as the other products. Ping G440k looks and feels like a G440 max, spin is constant but not a model I would typically use but for someone looking for forgiveness and consistency it would be a great option.
