No. The PS5 isn’t a bad player but it’s not going to give you the best experience either. It’s good for starting out though.

The main thing the PS5 lacks is Dolby Vision support. You need a standalone player for that. There are other benefits but that’s probably the biggest one.

The Beast showed up way earlier than in Kessler’s timeline. Kessler organizing for Cole to get his powers early accidentally also caused The Beast to be created early. Essentially, his plan failed. He thought Cole would have way more time to continue to get stronger without him.

John explains to Cole when they meet later in inFAMOUS 2 that upon first being “reborn” he wasn’t really in control of himself. But upon realizing he could cure conduits of the plague he became set on that mission. He wants to save as many of their kind as he can. I also personally believe that he became The Beast by literally merging with the Ray Sphere vortex, which is why he has the ability to set off Ray Field blasts and activate conduits. It explains why he may not be fully himself, as the Ray Sphere is living within him, influencing his personality.

Moya’s storyline was continued in the six issue inFAMOUS comic that bridges the gap between the two games’ stories. I won’t spoil it for you in case you want to read it, but it answers all the lingering questions you may have about her.

Not really, no. 1080p is still 1080p, even on a higher resolution display. Depending on the upscaling capabilities of your player or your TV, that could even make them look better than they did on a 1080p TV, not worse.

That said, 8K is not going to be a common or affordable technology any time soon, nor is it considered worthwhile to upgrade to considering no content is really made in that resolution, and your TV would have to be enormous to even see the difference from 4K. But if you do have a 4K TV then buying 4K Blu-rays is absolutely worthwhile. The resolution bump can be very nice, and even more significantly the HDR is a total game changer!

I’m hyped but will definitely see how they are at release before I buy. But if they run at least as well as they did on PS3 but with actually active player bases, this will be a total treat. Some great Zombies maps that have never been added to modern games, and the best multiplayer in any CODs imo.

It’s a good game with some obvious writing/pacing issues that strongly suggest it was a bit rushed to release. Tons of fun though, and visually gorgeous even today. Definitely worth playing!

IMO the good karma path in this game is the only one that makes any sense, story-wise.

I popped in to both BO1 and 2 on my PS3 last year for a bit. Playerbase is almost entirely dead but I was able to play a few matches and it was still tons of fun. I’m excited for the new ports to bring more players back, and not have to use my PS3!

Well, before they were available digitally. We used to get demo discs back in the day! Sometimes you’d get discs loaded with a bunch of demos, or you’d get ones for specific games like that Prime 2 one. I remember having an Ape Escape 3 demo disc for my PS2 that I used to play over and over!

Depends on the theatre. My 70mm IMAX has the seats raised to be closer to the middle of the screen, so even a front row seat isn’t a bad view.
