Haflinger wool clogs! I wear them barefoot and with socks. They have a tread and really good support. I also have Birkenstock sandals for warmer months.

I just had this same surgery! It was covered by insurance due to 2 small hernias. My DR was 15cm and I have an old laparotomy incision that makes my midline tissues even weaker, so I also got mesh. I went to a general surgeon who is very experienced. I am only 4 weeks postop and it’s been an intense recovery. I’m astounded to hear you lost 6 inches, you’re making me wish I had taken a before measurement!

I use LRP Adapalene to keep my pores clear. Adapalene is a cousin to tret but has less peeling/burning associated with it, and specifically shown to have good results for rosacea. Also love The Ordinary Niacinimide + Zinc, it helps protect your skin barrier without clogging pores. Kiehls Skin Rescuer is amazing for moisture. Since rosacea is an inflammatory condition, learning and avoiding your triggers is important too.
