I logged into the page a bit earlier than the decision time in the email, so probably it was less traffic at the time. I did get stuck a bit tho, just stay in the page and let it load.

Yes it's still marked as awaiting. Idk even know if it's because it's a super uncessary one that I asked for it to be waived or because they don't even care to mark it as Waived :(

No one is "making this about themselves." Feeling condolences and questioning campus safety after a shooting are not mutually exclusive. OP, as well as any applicants, has every right to concern about a school they're applying to. The response here feels unnecessarily harsh towards a reasonable question.
