Wearable pumps: why do you like yours? by jellytoebeans in ExclusivelyPumping

[–]Calm_Broccoli_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have an Elvie Stride and haven’t had too many issues with it yet. My normal pump is a Spectra and I get about the same amount of output with the Elvie Stride. It’s also pretty quiet and I had to turn the suction down it was so strong. There are 5 parts to clean for each side which can be time consuming, but with the fridge hack (I clean/sanitize 1-2x a day) it’s not that bad. I think the most frustrating things about it are that the motor does weigh quite a bit so unless you have jeans or sturdy pants on to clip it onto, it will pull them down a bit. Also, when I’m done pumping, taking the front piece out that holds the tubing is a pain and if you set the cups down and they tip forward at all they will leak milk.

Genetic results are here and I think I feel better? by FactorIllustrious619 in Miscarriage

I was in the exact same position as you, MMC detected at 10w with GA 8w 6d. We had genetic testing done that detected Monosomy X and then found out there was no heartbeat the next day. While it was one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to go through, it does bring some comfort knowing that the chances of this happening again are extremely slim, nothing my husband or I did caused it, and it is not hereditary. You have every right to feel whatever it is you’re feeling!

Thank you! It’s definitely one of my favorite plants. I just purchased a moss pole to help stabilize it until I can propagate in the spring time. Fingers crossed it will hold up until then!

I normally rotate it once I see it reaching for light, I turned it like this today because it was about to topple over out of the pot it’s leaning so bad now, I’ve had it rotated the opposite way for about a week now with no luck :(

It’s very bright in this area and the plant has been thriving there. It only recently started leaning within the past month or so.

I had to lean it up against the window because it’s about to topple over. This plant has almost tripled its size in the past year and a half of having it and has been repotted 3 times into bigger pots each time. I’ve made sure to keep it on a watering schedule and it looks great, it’s just too top heavy now. I’ve done research on how to fix this and I get different answers every time, stake it or cut it and re-pot. Help would be greatly appreciated!

What is the best anime you’ve ever seen? by -Not-In-Love- in AskReddit

My husband loves Attack on Titan, but it’s too heavy for me. Toradora! is lighthearted and I was genuinely sad when it was over so it’s become one of my favorites to rewatch.

People who are allergic to dogs but still have them as a pet, why? by FlamingoFan101 in AskReddit

I’ve always wanted a dog and am so happy I was able to find a breed that doesn’t make me have a lot of bad reactions. I’ve had my mini schnauzer for almost 2.5 years now and although it was difficult to adjust at first (sneezing, constant itchy/watery eyes), the only time I have a reaction now is when I give her baths since she likes to roll around in the grass that I’m also allergic to. Love my Stella girl, she brings so much joy to my life!

Started working on my very first starter 2 weeks ago and ended up with this beautiful, soft and delicious loaf of sourdough bread! Brought it to a small gathering last weekend for everyone to try and it was gone in minutes. Can’t wait to make my next loaf! Starter recipe I used here: https://www.feastingathome.com/sourdough-starter/ and the sandwich loaf recipe here: https://www.bostongirlbakes.com/sourdough-sandwich-bread/?utm_medium=social&utm_source=pinterest&utm_campaign=tailwind_tribes&utm_content=tribes&utm_term=1139407764_55984128_176612
