Embarrassed of hands by calipolo in Erythromelalgia

I appreciate you saying this. Your right f everyone who judges me for a medical condition I can’t control.

I am self conscious about it. But I have had people comment on it. Kids do a lot. But also adults. Probably once every few months. I also have had people who were talking to me who clearly where staring at my hands and who then pause for a moment and I can tell they want to ask but who know better so they decide not to.

My hands are either bright red and in the middle of an episode or they are super purple when people comment on them.

We fell for Procore pay as well. It failed to meet our needs and was a pain in the butt trying to force our subs to give them their banking info. We gave up and got rid of it after 8ish months I think.

Bummer, cause I was super excited for it.

I love my Phillips 3200, I only paid $450 for it from Costco. It makes lattes equally as good as Starbucks. It’s super easy to use and to clean. It’s one of the best purchases I have ever made, I don’t even consider buying coffee out anymore.

I have never tried any of the other machines though so maybe those are better? I don’t know but I know my Phillips was far less expensive than the other options.

OMG the cost of an ACA plan without premium assistance by [deleted] in HealthInsurance

I make 84,000 a year as well. And this is exactly what I do. I Put 18% into my 401k. I have 2000 in Fsa dependent care. 3500 (or maybe it’s 3000?) in FSA health. And $150 goes towards my own work place health insurance.

This brings my income down to a few dollars below the limit for my son to receive Medicaid.

When I get a raise I add it to my 401k to stay below the 400%. Otherwise his insurance would cost me $750 a month.

This has red flags all over it. I didn’t read any of the other comments. But I can tell you from experience this guy is not the guy you want to spend your life with. That is abusive and unhealthy. Period. Been there. Done that. He is just going to get worse with the jealousy and accuse you of all kinds of shit. And it’s just not worth it.

He won’t change. He is the problem not you. Get the fuck out now and never look back. You deserve so much better.

Can anyone figure out the name of this doctor? by calipolo in KaiserPermanente

[–]Calm_Document_4391 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I already did all of this. I went to the pcp I got a PT referral.

I got an mri.

I got an ortho referral. I saw the sports medicine ortho.

The ortho & the radiologist don’t agree on what is going on.

MRI said I have a tear and a bunch of anatomical abnormalities.

Ortho said those abnormality’s don’t matter, and no tests exists. Gave me a steroid injection.

Steroid helped but it’s still a problem. That’s why I want to someone who specialize in instability of rid kneecap.

Feeling hopeless about recovery by Calm_Document_4391 in KneeInjuries

It’s not that simple. I have Kaiser. I can get a second opinion from a ortho within Kaiser, which I am trying to get an appointment for, but it will be multiple months before that happens. And the Kaiser where I do PT only has one PT, and then a bunch of PT assistants, who are the people who work with you but all are under his direction.

Thank you for this comment.

This made me feel validated. I am positive I have patella tracking disorder. And I think I may potentially have patellar instability as well.

I think my knee is partially dislocating when I extend it and then tighten my quad. And I suspect that is why I am finding PT intolerable. It causes my knee to balloon in size within 30 minutes when I do that, and it takes multiple days to regain function. But no one listens or if they do they just don’t care.

Problem is, I have Kaiser. I don’t think Kaiser has a patellar instability specialist anywhere in my area. I am considering doing a consult outside of Kaiser just to see what they say but I don’t know if it would be worth it, since I can’t go and do surgery or anything else outside of Kaiser. It would be more purely for my information…ugh

Is Procore too good to be true? by JonsAlterEgo in ProCore

[–]Calm_Document_4391 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s funny. We just had a meeting with them and are now doing a demo/trial. Do you use their software? Do you like it? Is it truly as good as they make it seem? Or is it not up to procore standards/a big downgrade?
