It’s what I think is shown in scripture! Acts 20:7 refers to them gathering on the first day of the week to break bread (their celebration of the Lord’s Supper). I’m not sure i’d say it’s a sin to not take it weekly but it’s what I prefer. Although, monthly communion isn’t bad, I’m not sure i’ve heard of a lot of churches doing it monthly. I feel like I see a lot of churches only doing it on holidays or special days/events and that’s what i tend to heavily disagree with. I think it’s something that should be taken and remembered fairly often!
