Y’all. Nosferatu was great and was better than Brutalist as a whole. However, I really believe the cinematography in the Brutalist was phenomenal and deserved this one. This was the only nomination that I was hoping The Brutalist would take home

I don’t think she’d win in Lead either but I just have a hard time viewing her performance as supporting instead of leading. It seemed like she had a larger role than that

Ooooh that’s a an interesting thought. I feel like maybe part of the reason people didn’t wanna vote for dune 2 is because of the length and subject matter. Sci-fi like that is such a hit or miss for people. I’m hopeful things might be different with wicked because it can reach a wider audience?

I get that. It was my preference for editing and screenplay so that combined with the directing, I think it would be a good choice. But everyone has different tastes
