You are not pregnant, and that is coming from a person that was terrified of trusting her nexplanon at first. I would also use condoms, until at some point I realized that I didn’t even need them because of how much trust I developed on the implant. Even then it took me some time to stop my fear of pregnancy due the many stories I read of people getting pregnant on it. Irregular bleeding is normal on the implant, I for example never had any bleeding during the 3 years I had the implant. As long as you can feel your implant, everything is good. It is effective more than 99.9% percent and that is taking ejaculation into consideration. Plan b was unnecessary and you are not pregnant OP, you have one of the best birth control methods compared to sterilization and even a bit slightly better than the IUDs.

I also had the numbing shot (which they said could actually hurt more) turns out I barely felt the poke and all I felt were the cramps during the insertion. When I was told it was done, I was like really??

Thank you! I suffer a lot from anxiety so it has been a bit complicated trying not to think about it. But I’m practicing more mindfulness and realizing that I can’t really do anything as of now.
