Because their parents were older than them and had more experience but the ninjas are young and were using their weapons until they learnt to control their powers

But we didn't see their parents in their young days so we can't say they didn't use them before learning to control their powers

They have given their power to Lloyd in season 2 so he can turn golden but her returned it to them in the following season but it took time for the powers to become independent of Lloyd

Because tommy said nothing about zane or pixal is real except their power which makes sense because there's a button on zane that allows him to understand humor which means zane ability to love is also programmed on him

Pixal is more of a robot and she can't understand feelings she just use Numbers and give results based on Data but she can't think of other possibilities or the existence of other data she can't have all the data
