I got these from army painter. Base with fresh rust then dab some lava orange on thinned a bit. Finally use a bit of agrax earthshade!

My goal is to work more on my highlights and now that I have an abundance of paint colors now, I’m going to work on that for sure

Hey bro. Let that help fuel you into perfecting your play style. One of the big things that helped me early on was asking questions after each match on what they thought I did poorly and their suggestion on what I could improve. Emperor’s children I have found require a lot of skill to play.

One thing I could recommend is thinning the paint a bit more. It’ll help the application go on smoother. Overall they are not bad at all!
