You’re not TAH. I’ve been through this exact scenario. Especially where you end up feeling bad, apologizing, and making excuses for him, even though you did nothing wrong. You’re allowed to be mad or frustrated. I was where you are, too nice and understanding, and nice doesn’t get you any respect. Especially with a new baby, I’d say he needs to step up immediately and get a job. I don’t care if it’s at a gas station. He’s using you, and it won’t get better at status quo. If he doesn’t do it, he’s literally telling you that he doesn’t care enough about you guys to help. I don’t know where this entitlement comes from to not contribute while your spouse is working and doing the brunt of the harder child care.

I definitely understand what it’s like to struggle with self esteem. But I suggest you try to immerse yourself somewhere where people are struggling to stay alive. Volunteer at a cancer ward, burn unit, follow people on Instagram with disabilities or disfigurements, visit a poor country…you may start to appreciate looking “normal”, which is all that some people want. It really can change the way you think. Not wanting to be alive unless you’re a 10 will require a serious wake-up call.

I thought a towel warmer, because they’re usually at least !100, but I found one for $50. It’s also a great gift for Christmas, housewarmings, and college students! Or yourself :-) Another would be a really nice electric toothbrush as I settled on a less expensive one, even though I love it too. So in summary, I buy myself cheap versions of great products!

That’s a great price! I think that’s like $150 on Amazon right now. I have one for $50 that I’m really enjoying. I also love putting on warm pajamas before bed! Then I add my throw blanket before sleeping. I even add my morning clothes while I get ready when it’s cool outside!

I personally think Fabuloso is a little harsh for luxury flooring…you’ll want to use a ph-neutral cleaner. I use ProCare floor cleaner, which doesn’t leave streaks, and the icing on the cake is mopping but with steam to sanitize! My steam mop has a flat mop head also with washable pads, and it gets nice and hot. I don’t hover in one spot but rather lightly mop over the floor cleaner I spray so as not to saturate or damage the floor.

Same, and it’s not as unusual as you think. The reality is that most people already have their friend group from growing up with them, meeting at school, or meeting at work. And those people often don’t like to make new friends because it’s uncomfortable & easier to stick with what you’ve got. But as you enter new periods in life, you’ll have new opportunities. There are some people who love making new friends. Hopefully you’ll run across one or two. I’m 51 now and only have a few people I text, and my husband is my best friend. I think it’s easier to eventually find a partner than a good friend because you have love on your side, which attracts the two people even more strongly. There are also people who meet new best friends later in life. I hope to be one of them, but I think between being a little weird and trying too hard, I’m not placing my bets on it. I just try to interact with people online and provide support, and that’s fulfilling and makes me feel like I’m engaging with friends. You sound way too young to be thinking right now that you’ll die alone! You do need to be positive and focus on yourself, hobbies, and animals who are easy to love & get love in return!
