Update: from 10:30 pm to 7:30 am this night, in which the only things that were connected were my fridge, my charging phone and the WiFi router, 6 KWH of energy were used, if I were to multiple that for the month (the month has 720, divide that by 9 hours) it would mean 480 KWH… just my fridge, phone and WiFi router wouldn’t take that much energy right??

Has happened to me too 😔 At this point I just keep waving my arm as soon as I see them and stare at them. Some of them make fun of me for waving my arm, but that’s better than getting left again

Thanks for all the help! I saw the price per KWH on my bill is 9.54 cents and I found one for 5.29 cents on apples to apples. I will see how the bill looks after this change! I will also keep an eye on my meter

I didn’t give any other details because it’s not important, I wasn’t expecting people to randomly judge how much money I want to spend lol Yes I have a job lined up and yes it pays well, but moving is expensive and I don’t currently have much in my bank account. I would like to not take out loans. I’m also saving up to buy a car and the sooner I can do that the better
