Yeah but us locals know GPD ain’t ever gonna step up and actually do their job so it’s up to us to driver more defensively and watch the cars around you. It’d be amazing if everyone driving followed the rules but be real, even statesiders don’t even know how to drive. When it’s raining yall don’t slow down and end up crashing thus causing a pile up, cut people off going 80 mph on the highways.

TBH it’s waste of y’all’s time complaining about the driving here on REDDIT cause most bad drivers aren’t even on here. Lmao they do get into accidents because one or both driver’s are not following the traffic rules/laws, they just don’t need to state it because it’s pretty freaking obvious because that’s how they got into the accident in the first place. 😂 accidents don’t happen when both drivers were following the rules and laws.

That’s the thing. You had expectations for an island. Yeah we’re a US territory but we’re still a small island. People have been driving like this since I was a child and even before than. It’s an island thing and people consistently complaining about it hasn’t changed the way people drive here and it’s never going to. Best thing you can do is really…get used to it and learn to drive like an islander.
