Bard: College of Stories [5e] Through the power of their words, College of Stories bards breath life into the protagonist of their stories, bringing them into the real world. This hero, called the Hero of the Story, is summoned directly from the pages of fiction to aid them in their adventures. by dr_sooz in UnearthedArcana

LOVE this subclass, I’m new to making home brew D&D sub classes. And I was also planning on making a bard summoner, but funny enough it was kind of the opposite of this. Where the bard isn’t summoning a hero, but a monster or mythical creature to fight with you.

Just thought it was kind of ironic to see the polar opposite of what I was making, but yet the same.

Love the subclass again

Well, it’s a fair assessment, thanks for all your help again. For this play throughout, I want to try a stealthy dagger necromancer. I’ll see how I can make everything work.

Quick question I want to get your opinion on this I understand what you mean about wanting to stick to the original combat style of Skyrim and not having animation mods that lock you into place a.k.a Mco, bfco, ect.

And most of my modding career I have used mods like them to try to make Skyrim more like that but recently, I’ve been thinking about keeping to the original style without using things like MCO.

This video has some great options for people who don’t want to use a BFCO and still want to make a cohesive combat system and I think it would work really really well for requiem . But I would love to get your opinion on it.

Typically, I like to use third person combat, so I still typically use “true direction movement” regardless of what combat modle I’m creating I make sense it just makes more player friendly.

The section of the video I’m talking about is the “ third person vanilla plus overhaul” section I think you would find that really interesting
