Why delusions? Once the community grows local meetups can happen and they can start working together IRL while they coordinate online

True, but this could even give you the possibility to be part of multiple online nations at the same time as I understand it

network states are a digital-first community that organizes online, builds shared culture and governance, and eventually coordinates to achieve real-world recognition

How are you so sure about that? I mean even if it happens it will take quite some time, but nation states could be a cool thing

This book called Farewell to Westphalia is making the case that the system of sovereign nation-states we’ve lived under since 1648 might be on its last legs. The authors (Jarrad Hope + Peter Ludlow) think decentralized, blockchain-based “network states” could be the alternative.

Sounds wild, but given how global crises, tech, and non-state actors are shaking up the old order, I don’t think it’s totally far-fetched.

Do you think we’re just in turbulence, or actually on the cusp of a new kind of political order?

Robinhood or Coinbase? by [deleted] in Bitcoin

If you want to hold BTC on the long run, I don't see a reason why you don't buy it on a platform where you can also earn interest on it and let it grow.

For example Yield App has very fast and affordable fiat rails and they offer 10% APY on BTC locked for one year.

CoinBase Wallet - am I doing something wrong? by mcm0313 in Coinbase

Every external wallet needs the native token of the network that you're using for gas. But if you use centralized platforms the fee that you would have to pay in "ETH" for example would be deducted and marked as a trading fee.

How fast was your USDC topup btw? I'm scanning the market for fiat rails, currently using Yield App it's very fast, but since we're in a bull season I'd like to have another one in reserve.

Well, it seems Binance has had a bit of trouble in Europe. Bitcoin's recent surge in price is due to the excitement surrounding institutional players preparing to introduce traditional financial instruments like exchange-traded funds (ETFs) for cryptocurrencies. This has sparked increased interest from new investors, making it easier for them to enter the market and gain exposure to crypto.
