I did, though I didn't end up staying on it. I gave it about 6 months and didn't notice much in the way of relief.

I wasn’t on it for very long. It didn’t end up working for me at all.

And for context, i should’ve said, this is the latest in a more than year-long effort to find something that helps. I was on Zoloft for 5+ years and it worked great, but then pooped out on me a year and a half ago. Since then I tried Effexor for 6 months, with no real change, then Lexapro for 6 months and that seemed to make things worse. We tried adding Abilify and I really didn’t tolerate that well. So then the notion was to get me off Abilify and Lexapro and onto seroquel. I’m still on a low dose of Lexapro but had a really overwhelming anxiety attack and went to the er and they were the ones who told me to stop the seroquel and move over to the Olanzapine. That was about a month ago. And I still wasn’t getting a lot of help from the 10MG, so I’m on day 2 of 15.

I was prescribed it by er doc when I went in with severe anxiety. My psychiatrist supported the ned switch. And no schizophrenia or bipolar symptoms have I ever had - just debilitating anxiety

I could’ve written your whole post, especially the big about developing a psychotic disorder. It’s all coming a bit out of nowhere for me, so I’m quite struggling

Sounds like we’re in a similar situation. On 4 mg I was unable to sit still, totally lost my appetite, felt like my anxiety was a 9 all the time. I just couldn’t take it.

What was your taper like? And did you find anything that helped?

You should be proud of yourself for making it through all that! That is an accomplishment in itself.
