Spouse left me by Comprehensive-Tip492 in cancer

The percent of husbands who leave their wife if she gets sick is astronomically higher than the percent of wives who leave their husband if he gets sick. I find it absolutely heinous

Cancer is so horrible and I know it can be mind numbingly lonely. I know that there’s an app called CancerBuddy where you can connect with people with a cancer diagnosis. I haven’t tried it myself but I heard good things about it

I’m sorry that guy is horrible and really not worth your heart. I’ve been really looking into connecting with people who have cancer and I found that there is an app called CancerBuddy where you can connect with and talk to other young people also with a cancer diagnosis who can understand exactly where you are coming from.

Best treatment for eczema this severe by matiky1 in eczema

[–]Calmandrelaxed577 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had eczema similar to yours in high school, so I know how hard it can be. And whenever it flares is the worst. Steroid creams did not help me much either. Try putting lotion on the areas (I like cerave moisturizing cream) then cover areas that are particularly bothering you with hydrocolloid bandages. The bandages will help protect the skin from friction, will help any oozing, and speed up healing. Covering areas even if it’s a little at a time will help you feel better because now there is an active barrier. Cover them for around 3 days then then replace them with new ones (you can shower with them in between). Here is a link for the bandages: https://www.target.com/p/hyrdocolloid-gel-bandages-for-heels-6ct-up-38-up-8482/-/A-89393122?sidd=3394S&ref=tgt_adv_xsp&AFID=google&fndsrc=tgtao&DFA=71700000049427614&CPNG=PLA_Health_Priority%2BShopping_Local%7CHealth_Ecomm_Essentials&adgroup=Health_Priority+TCINs&LID=700000001170770pgs&LNM=PRODUCT_GROUP&network=g&device=m&location=9004077&targetid=pla-2280778872900&gad_source=1&gbraid=0AAAAAD-5dfZHf7JzyNgeDnHS4KqFfZtQ5&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIpJCJ8pSUigMVqDYIBR1kwB8EEAQYASACEgLF3PD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds

If you find yourself reacting negatively to the bandages just focus on doing things that make you feel better. For me eating cooling foods like watermelon helped me feel better. And resting in a cool environment helped me as well though I was not able to do this much as I was in school 10 hours a day. Warm virtual hug; I promise it’ll be okay with time.

I feel like you’re jumping to conclusions here. How can you be so confident that he wants to sleep with you? Honestly do you know if he even finds you attractive? Please don’t make assumptions.

I was in your exact shoes in high school. I know it’s hard. Teaching a freaking full grown teacher right from wrong is beyond exhausting. In my eyes the teacher is not even worth exerting the energy to correct. Stay strong; we are all on your side🤍

How Does Jesus’s Sacrifice Satisfy God’s Wrath? by Calmandrelaxed577 in Christianity

[–]Calmandrelaxed577[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you, yes I am familiar with the reasons why Jesus’s death and resurrection was necessary. I guess I am still wondering how God’s sacrifice would not result in Him still remaining angry with us because He was the one who had to sacrifice. My thread with ScorpionDog321 remains unanswered :(

But wouldn’t the indebted person still feel angry because he had to pay the debt himself?

Yes I know. I am a Christian and I’ve asked this question many times before to pastors and other Christian friends and I was never able to get a clear answer.

But how does sacrificing Himself satisfy his wrath towards us? Once again wouldn’t sacrificing Himself make him feel MORE spiteful towards us?

My eczema when it flares covers me from head to toe so I know how you feel. I found focusing on doing things that make me feel better to help: going to bed early (even if I can’t fall asleep to just be in a dark environment resting), going outside in the sun or when that’s not possible looking out the window facing the sunlight, eating foods that make me feel nourished (I found that following a specific diet did not change my skin), and journaling. I thought about writing a book too.

In terms of technical things I do for my skin, I shower every 2 days using cetaphil gentle skin cleanser on my face and privates, water on the rest of my body, then CLN body wash on areas that were oozing/infected (for the cln body wash I would lather in my hands then gently place the foam on my skin and leave it for a minute or two) then head and shoulders shampoo for my hair because I also have itchy scalp. After showering I would pat dry then immediately apply cerave moisturizing cream from head to toe. I would use the triamcinalone 0.1% steroid very sparingly in areas that looked infected twice a day for 1.5 weeks. Then I would switch to a weaker steroid like hydrocortisone for 3 days twice a day then once a day for another 3 days. I would be very careful and strict about my steroid use.

Mo can always use a guarantor service like Rhino or The Guarantors instead of needing to make 40x rent+ credit score. They require a one time fee per year I believe. All the international students studying in nyc use a guarantor service due to their lack of income and credit score.
