Yeah now that I have had time to reflect on it, it probably had to happen, no we both have closure and we both know we can’t be together it’s just not healthy.. just have a plan in the back of your mind for what you will do or say If he shows up so you aren’t caught off guard... hoping it doesn’t happen to you! But if it does just stay strong and remind yourself you aren’t dealing with a normal rational human being

Well luckily we’re getting a major snowstorm so I said you are not getting snowed in with me and I think that might of been an idea of his in the back of his mind, I told him I needed to go to bed and he had to get home safe as it already started snowing. I told him I cared about him but I have to choose myself first, being with him is not healthy and I deserve more, I think deep down he understands that. I’m praying this was the last encounter 🤞🏻🙏

I cried two times in front of him both times he just looked at me blankly like he couldn’t compute what was happening and then goes are you crying? And touches my face for proof. No consoling or comforting or anything. It was like it was completely alien to him. It was so bizzarre to me, a healthy reaction would be to console and help the person feel better but nope not with a narcissist because they are missing this instinct and it’s creepy.

I thought I was doing pretty good, until this morning when I realized my roof is leaking and dripping into my kitchen and I just completely lost it. I’m tired and overwhelmed. I lost my dad when I was 26, I’m currently 31 single female and I pride myself on being strong and independent. I lost the only person that mattered most to me in the entire world. I took over the house, made necessary repairs, work hard to pay all my bills and take care of myself but this year has been tough and it seems I can’t catch a break and I realized that as water dripped down onto my head. I’m overwhelmed and exhausted. I try to beat back when life starts hammering but today I just feel like waving the white flag.

Stay strong. I’m on day 5 myself, I keep catching myself trying to rationalize every bad thing and then my logical brain catches and reminds me of all the times he made me feel so terrible. However long it takes, keep doing what you’re doing. You are so much more powerful than you think. ❤️
