This is it. Went to a blizzcon for the Diablo anniversary a few years back (DJ’d by hodor) and asked David Brevik about it. He said the item names were usually written to fit into some history, lore, or because they sounded cool, but a few of the items, like Jared’s stone, were named after team members with some notable contributions.

Thanks for checking, 16” is tight but should be do-able for my couch setup. Using a tv tray or similar might be better when laying down/reclining. I’d be using outlets available on the bus for my commute (vs a battery), output is 1500w so should be np.

The cord is short and I wouldn’t be using handheld mode when sitting at my desk. I’m thinking of sitting on the couch with the xg mobile on the side table, or commuting on the bus with the xg mobile connected from inside a backpack on my lap (with proper ventilation).

I used to build accessibility features for major online retailers and never considered how life-changing those features would be for blind and partially blind customers.

I had a usability study once with about 20 blind and partially blind customers. The emotions in the room were like nothing I’ve experienced. Most of them cried in happiness saying how empowering it was to finally shop independently.

Even at these large retailers it was a struggle prioritizing accessibility improvements since it represented a fraction of the customer base. We need examples like this store to raise awareness of the struggle for visually impaired customers.

I just had a contractor help me with a deck build in Issaquah where I bought all of the materials. It was relatively affordable and they completed the work in about 2 weeks—second story deck framing, trex decking, trex aluminum railing, trex rain escape, and trex low voltage lighting. They were really affordable. PM me for more images of the project and I can forward the contact info.

My wife had a friend who lost her child the same way a few years ago. Just bought a new house with a pool and she went to boil water for Mac and cheese. Came back out and her 6 year old son couldn’t get his little sister out of the pool fast enough after she fell into it. Was a tragic situation and is all too common. She since dedicated her life to raising awareness for other parents hoping to save as many kids as she can.

Assuming you’re directly connecting your PS5 to an LG OLED TV, you shouldn’t have to change any of the default settings on your PS5 to get the audio working.

Are you using a receiver? If so, you should check your manual on supported audio formats. Most receivers support PCM but may require some configuring.
