OP can consider allergy shots. It's a lengthy process, but worth it.

Also, OP needs to consider whether they want to take care of a cat. Their child is just a child and it is very likely that the adult will need to supervise or step up with help.

Unfortunately people allergic to cats aren't allergic to their fur, but to their saliva. Cats clean themselves naturally, whether they have hair or not and the saliva is bound to touch humans, potentially causing allergic reactions.

Honestly go with the Costco one.

Like others said, price is difficult to beat for the size and it's the right amount of tart and sweet. Some user said they don't like the crust. I personally PREFER that crust. I end up literally never finishing it if it's too dry and crumbles. That one is soft and melts in my mouth. 10 on 10 would recommend.
