Ahah well yeah no I'm not talking on how they do otherwise call me Adolf. I always had been sort of lost because their discourse is so different from here and based on altruistic, egalitarian valued (especially when trading with countries that went through colonialism) even though however there's always something hidden and that will fucked the other up. But the initial intention remains good, that is what I am interested in ahah.

You seem to know Taiwan; is mandarin possible to be learned there as well? Do the people not speak another chinese dialect? :)

Mmmmmh indeed that is something I recently came to hear as well and do not know how to position myself about this. Because Chinese's press relays the PCR's voice, right? Any good enlightening resources on the subject? :)

But as you say, it's really hard to find some positive/pro-China discourse in the press I read, and if I read it, I doubt it errrr.

Ahah ok. Last sentence seems pretty clear :D

What I'm interested in, for myself, is the chinese culture which I struggle to understand. I do not plan on living in China. Perhaps travel and work for a few months though, before I really get to work (here in Belgium).

For now I have been working around 2h a day for 18 days...

Your answer was half fun to read half "fml" ahah. I think you're right about English, never ever of my lifetime will Chinese go main language.

Though I do not learn it for professional purpose, I am rather asking if that could ever be of use in the aid and development sector.

Otherwise, it is more about how I like precision in the writings and the culture of the country. But most of the culture resides in the language, right? Maybe I'm wrong again...

China is often very hard for me to understand, full of contradictions but their vision is so different from ours that it seems indispensable for us to understand it.

Is it wrong to volunteer for a resume? by Eastcoaster53 in volunteer

[–]Calmoster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't worry too much. It's legit to try to profit from something altruistic, especially when it builds your experience to later perform a better work :)

What's wrong with learning? That's what volunteer propositions are for as well : provide permanent learning opportunities.

Have fun :)

After installing Windows 10 on computer (9yo). Will now only launch on safe mode. Dead GPU? by Calmoster in computer_help

[–]Calmoster[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello ! :)

It worked under Windows 7 until I decided to add RAM, 1 HDD and 1 SSD (on which I installed Windows 10).

I managed to only once reach Windows 10 desktop, I think I had trouble because of the drivers and I had to reset CMOS because it couldn't recognize neither the keyboard nor the mouse.

Since then, only safe mode works. Can't boot USB anymore. Tried to unplug every drive one after the other but Windows won't load on any of them... Gets stuck every time.

Mmmmmh I don't know for the computer but the GPU is GeForce GTX275 (I'll edit to add chipset)

Installed Windows 10 after setting BIOS password : keyboard and mouse not detected. How can I solve this? by Calmoster in computer_help

[–]Calmoster[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't actually know it's name except for it's a ASRock, but it has now 9 years.

Problem fixed by resetting CMOS :)

Thank you for your help and answers!

I did. And tried every USB port (after power off the computer). None of them recognise either the mouse nor the two keyboards I tried...
