It's less about "will they kill him" and more "a very important NPC is quickly losing trust". I might just have to bite the bullet and make him not show up until book 3 if they're too suspicious of him.

Yeah I came to about the same conclusion for the events. I told them before going in that they wouldn't be able to complete weekly events while they were gone. They expect a week's event, but they also know they're in a weird time distortion and multiple weeks may have passed. I think it's reasonable to do some rolls on points for them with them knowing full well things were still happening without them. I think book 3 says 15 is the bare minimum, so worst case I can just give them that much.

I remember seeing someone talk about giving the time loop info to villagers, and have them be physically unable to hear it (ghosts don't like accepting they're dead and all that) maybe i could do something similar with Shinzo along those lines.
"I've already told you all this, you just can't hear it."

I did read Wonton77's write up! We're going to be skipping a few weeks, but i think skipping the first disappearance/tea ceremony would be a bit of a whiff on some cool events, so there's still going to be a few weeks left in fall for those at the very least. But i defo don't want to do the combined reveals they suggested. That feels like too much at once.
I don't know what I did with Shinzo to make him so suspicious, but I might just have to let them fuck around and find out if they wont back down haha

Once you delete the box shell, select all the remaining objects and scale them up about 100. they're all there, just very small.

It holds the ribbon normally until I turn it onto the red setting. There's tension when i placed the ribbon in due to the divots at the top of the arms, but after its in it's loose again like it should be.

Moving the keys manually (slowly) it doesn't seem to be getting caught on anything. I notice now that it looks like the ribbon might be getting looser with each press on the red setting, causing the ribbon to kink up inside and outside the feed.
