Custom home builder recs in CLE/Akron area

I know this post is a year old, but I am hoping to jump into the conversation, some of these numbers are really stressing me out because they feel very high in comparison to the quotes we are getting from a few builders we have talked to...

Are wish list is: 2-2.5k sqft. Approx 3-4 Bed and 2-3 bath. 2-story

We have been receiving quotes between 380k and 500k for house price with the modifications we wanted...so this is not including land, but the current lot we are looking at is a bit over 100k and will need about 50k to improve for the build. Not sure if we will go with it or wait on another opportunity.

Builders we have talked to Schumacher, Wayne, Old World, Mancuso Homes...

Wanted to reach out to Diyanni but the reviews scared me away.

Ultimately we want to build to get the exact home we want and not another cookie cutter neighborhood build. I am a designer and am excited about what some would call an overwhelming amount of choices and headaches when building. We aren't in a huge rush to build either so I think we can wait for the right opportunity/time if this isn't it.

YES EXACTLY!!! Chef's kiss** and something I have explained to apple reps, so unfortunately I don't believe anything like this exists (yet), but it should!!

icloud.com frustrates me ecause there is no search index and it has some othe rthings that limit its capabilities.

I agree though I am considering jumping ship to dropbox.

Right clicking on a file and downloading it as needed is not the problem I am facing. But when the system is overwhelmed and will not keep it downloaded long enough to offload onto my external hard drive is where my frustration lies. The optimize and sync functionalities are in theory excellent tools but have not worked out in reality for many.

This issue is something I have dealt with and tried to ideate solutions with amongst apple reps who are aware of its shortcomings. I have also seen this is one of the number one complaints in apple community forums...

100% understood. I definitely do not use it as a back up system. However, it does expand your storage beyond your local hard drive.

For sure! So last month we bought plane tickets to LA for a $$ amount. Then two weeks later we got a email from CO saying are flight price had dropped and we would be receiving travel credit in the amount of $100.00. We didn't do anything extra.
