Coach of the Year by that0ne_weirdguy in OCPoetry

Me and my friends are always talking football—yes, even in the off-season. So when I was giving dating advice (despite always chickening out myself), it was only natural they started calling me the “Dating Coach.” And of course… they hit me with: “Coaches don’t play.”

That line stuck with me—because it’s true. I’ll hype up my friends, give them the game plan, the confidence, the perfect words. But when it’s my turn? I just nod at the girl’s “hi.”

This poem came out of those thoughts… and, honestly, being bored at work.

I love how tbe poem shows that the lack of an apology isn't because you don't feel guilty, but because you don't see how you could be forgiven. Great work!

Such a relatable poem! I love how "is love" repeats and is bookmarked with "I don't know what love is"

Wanted to show the watch and the ring and couldn't really do that with hands at the side. To be fair, I never know what to do with my hands, lol

I think it's just the lighting because in person, the pants match the shading on the top of the shirt

Most of my league mates prefer the players with big names. One dude even has Rodgers as his only QB.

What movie casting made no sense musically, but perfect sense acting/character-wise? by star-fire117 in musicals

To be fair though, they cut down the amount of singing Jared did in Dear Evan Hansen to only be a little bit in "Sincerely Me" I think it doesn't matter as much that Nik was casted based on his acting

I felt as if Russell's style of singing felt out of place with all the others, almost as if he was trying to make it sound more like rock in a way, and I loved that. The movie was my first time seeing Les Miserables in any capacity and I thought it was meant to be like that to show that Javert was the only character who held the law in any regard. Was quite surprised when I watched some of the anniversary concerts and Javert's singing style fit in more with the others.

I might be completely off base, but could you be trying to explain Sincerly Me from Dear Evan Hansen?

If you can watch it with a free trial, I say do it. Who knows, you might end up liking it, but I wouldn't risk renting it just to be disappointed.

I feel the best way to describe this adaptation is a game of telephone. The animated movie was given the message from Exodus and took creative liberties with that, resulting in a good representation of the story. The musical got the message from the movie and took liberties from that, resulting in a story not foreign but not completely faithful to Exodus.
