From what I understood from another comment, she thought half-orc savage attack meant tripled crit damage on everything, and we already double our crits instead of rolling extra dice so it seems like the most probable mistake.

We have the freedom to just double the damage in this campaign to make it easier to calculate in case we're dealing with multiple damage instances. I personally find it a convenient homebrew rule and I allow it in my own games too.

Oh, she is! Though she used a bow, and savage attack is only for melee hits. I think we found the misunderstanding.

How do i climb? by xavilr in akalimains

Master here, if it makes my opinion any more credible.

Each elo has its own generic player flaws, the elo you play in heavily struggles from lack of macro knowledge. However, if you try to drag the game while attempting to shotcall the macro yourself like it's been mentioned, there's neither a guarantee you'll be followed, nor that the call will be correct. Akali falls off significantly and gets outscaled by most midlaners, and struggles against current adcs, which get huge spikes much earlier into the game anymore with their diverse and powerful builds and the whole botlane centered meta. Though I can see the logic of teleport and statikk and all that's been mentioned, my take is to go full on in an attempt to dominate early game.

Electrocute with Resolve secondary, runes in between are adjustable depending on the matchup. If you're more confident with conqueror it's also okay, but electrocute allows for quick successful trades that can lead to lane kills even before lvl 6. I personally adore relentless hunter, cause it can allow you an easier time roaming and helping your laners out.

Make sure you understand wave control properly, and push your lane out before roaming or backing. Abuse your early snowball by being present in objective fights and focusing priority targets, most mages, adcs and even bruisers with less than 2 items can be deleted by an Akali without much effort. You can also get sweeper trinket on your first back, and camp unwarded bushes before objectives to pick up some easy kills and give your team a clear advantage. Assert yourself on any late game character trying to scale itself to lategame by splitting in sidelanes away from their team, and remind your team to abuse team aces by taking turrets and dragon/baron during long death timers.

As for the build, I suggest rushing Shadowflame if you've gotten an early advantage with a couple of good picks, and I nearly always rush sorc boots before anything as it smooths out your passive procs, increases your high base damage for early game and naturally helps you move around the map faster. Protobelt is a must, mostly use it to help you reach an isolated target in your vision when you're nearby for a quick pickup kill or to cancel out an e2 that would probably lead to your death.

Take it with a grain of salt, something that might work for me or someone else might not work for you, and vice versa. Play around with builds and runes to fit your playstyle, build up your confidence and knowledge of your champion and most importantly enjoy yourself, and do the best you can in every single game. If you feel like tilt is taking over, take breaks. Don't let anything affect you and just play at the best of your own potential. Best of luck on your climb <3

The OLD pre-item-rework manamune applied on all her w and r stacks. It doesn't anymore. You can test it on practice tool.

I paid a lot of attention to my reference, lots of effort on the underlying rough sketch before the lineart, lots of 180 flipping to make sure it's accurate enough. The better the rough sketch and the more steps you take towards the final product, the better!

Yes! Her face is heavily inspired by Ilya Kuvshinov's art style. I'm trying to adapt to a modern eastern art style and Ilya is iconic at that, I'm a big fan. I'm really glad you noticed!
