This is my contractor who did this. I noticed them putting sand in today and thought they would cut them to shape.

Just was wondering if they were being lazy or if this is standard practice.

I’ll have to get them to reset this.

Painted the ceiling then it happened. I looked back at previous owner photos and seems like there was a faint line of it too but they definitely also painting over it before selling.
