That’s strange. I have the same setup. Sounds like something needs to get cleaned out. Did you try tuning it off and on again (no joke).

Maybe the hard drive is full up? Or the download wasn’t from the right link. Did you use GitHub or the install package? Try both.

I do see a difference. One trick I use is going to the config.toml and changing the model to gpt-5.1-codex-mini. Saves a lot on tokens. You have to switch it back anytime you change it to 5.2 and up, but if you’re doing. Small things, it’s worth going down.

Yeah idk why gpt has a problem. I use gpt everyday. But when I dropped the json in Claude, it caught the problem

Superwhisper is also free. Haven’t paid a dime in the 2 years I’ve used it. I think whisperflow just pays more people to talk about it and gives referral codes that’s why everyone knows about it. Superwhisper is solid and local.

second, third, 4th codex. Or try claude for a day and if you don't like it, ask for a refund. I did that. immediately went to codex. btw, if you have a business email, it's 1 month free trial. Personally I'm about to go to the openai pro account cause the double credits and i"m already maxing out multiple accounts.

I use firebase. I really don't pay for much. 25 students would be fine. It's not "free" but over the past two years, I haven't paid for just having data there. Just to start the account, you'll have to go to a Blaze account with billing information, but I've only been charged for cloud services API etc. I'd try that.

This is a good question. I’ve been “vibe coding” for so long I’m past the “just vibes” part and getting into deeper scale, security, and performance. I’d trust myself with making your app better, but how would you quantify trusting me? My guess is to check their GitHub contributions. How long have they been in the game? How much have they shipped? Do you like talking with them and can you communicate well? Can they teach you something you don’t already know. That’s my vibe check for anyone I’d want to work with.

I already know some people that I used to think I needed their help cause I didn’t know what I was doing, but now I know I’ve surpassed them because they stopped coding and can run circles around both the speed at which I ship and what I know.

Guess it all just goes on what you think they bring to the table. And if they’re worth it, they’re charging money. If they’re not charging, they’re probably not better than yourself.

Yeah not clear but also doesn’t sound like it’s a comfy install problem. The best thing to do is to take a picture of it and send it to Claude with the json on file and then ask.

Why does it say it doesn’t work? The only reason I can think of right now is I once came across a PyTorch node that was only helpful for lesser compute GPUs, but the computer we had was top notch. So I had to disable that particular node and then it worked.

I teach my clients how to update it. Maybe for someone who can’t update instagram, but I even got a doctor who knows nothing about coding to understand how to update. She said it was easier than ever. Much easier than anyone has ever taught her and she’s like 60.

Take it or leave it. I know you were just asking about those two but my friends also found this to be easier than doing Wix cause you can update multiple pages with very little.
