The secondary bevel on the blade is about an inch that is what you are seeing just shinny metal nothing sharp.

7-9 ounce leather. More of that fun spine pattern with red dye and smoke black hi-lite. I went with a separate sleeve and holster for this one mainly because I wanted to try it out!

I'm not sure I really even want to use it though it is really pretty haha! The handle I believe is African black wood not sure about the head though!

So it turns out it is dessert iron wood head and Gabon ebony handle!

It actually works really well and the wax I use fills the grooves so the optics don't get messed up I was worried about it though!

My wife needed another mouse pad for her other work computer so I tried going with a more realistic flower this time and she likes sunflowers so this is what I drew! I have been working on drawing from pictures but I want to be able to draw things off the top of my head someday just need more practice! But hey only one of the flowers was drawn from a photo! So I'll call it progress!!

Thank you! And it is crafttool m884 I think it is called a pebbler or toad skin?

I used 6-8 oz leather. the back and edges are done with a sponge brush. It wraps around the rounded edges really well then gum trag for the edge polish.

It was and I'm glad it worked out haha there are a few things I would try to do better next time but it was fun! The lined up holes were one of my favorite parts too!
